A small piece of German professional football in Uganda

A small piece of German professional football in Uganda

In a football academy in Uganda, an unusual sight has recently appeared: JAKO balls are rolling, while young, sports-loving men train in Bayer 04 Leverkusen jerseys. The scene is the result of a jersey donation from us and the excellent work of the charity organization Vision For Africa. The organization has set itself the task of offering disadvantaged children and young people in Africa a perspective.

We are happy to pass on the JAKO team spirit to these young people in the form of a jersey and ball donation. Sport unites and conveys comradeship and joy to the young people of the Academy. Helmut Hago from Vision for Africa says: "The enthusiasm with which the football loving young men in the jerseys play and train is great".

The pictures also reveal a high level of commitment and passion. Additional jerseys and balls were also given to friendly football schools in Uganda, benefiting children and young people.

We are happy to be able to help the teams of the academy. Hopefully, JAKO balls will continue to roll in Uganda in the future and, together with our jerseys, help to support the projects of Vision for Africa.
