JAKO and KOMM MIT enter into partnership in youth football
The team sports outfitter JAKO and the non-profit organisation KOMM MIT are starting a partnership and supporting up to 1,000 clubs with jersey sets. KOMM MIT is primarily active in youth football in Germany and Europe and brings together young people from over 60 different nations through sporting events. Since 1998, the organisation has provided numerous youth teams with jerseys every year through its "Club Support" programme. With the new partnership, JAKO and KOMM MIT have now set themselves the goal of jointly supporting and promoting children's and youth football even more.

The professional structures of the JAKO dealer network in combination with digital solutions allow for nationwide coverage of the promotion and direct contact with the clubs and teams. Each team that benefits from the club promotion also receives an individual online shop - the so-called JAKO Teamshop. Here, the club members can order the equipment directly digitally and have it conveniently delivered to their homes or collect it from the dealer on site. JAKO and KOMM MIT share both the motivation to strengthen football at the grassroots level and the same values in corporate management - the topic of sustainability takes on a special significance here.

"We are very pleased that we will now continue our "Club Support" project in cooperation with JAKO and that we can thus continue to provide sustainable support for youth teams at grassroots level. With over 24,000 clubs and around 88,000 children's and youth teams in Germany alone, the impact of our work is tangible." Says Philipp Reinartz, Managing Director at KOMM MIT.

Tobias Röschl, Marketing & Sales Director at JAKO, says: "Supporting clubs, especially in the area of youth, is an important concern for us. Football and team sports connect and play an important role for society. Training, winning and losing together creates a strong sense of cohesion and is the most integrative thing there is. In addition, the cooperation with KOMM MIT promotes international exchange. That's why we have found a great partner here and look forward to working together. WE ARE TEAM."

About KOMM MIT
The non-profit organisation KOMM MIT has been active for society in children's and youth sports for decades and exclusively pursues sustainable goals. The socially relevant work takes place, through football, in eight areas: International understanding, the fight against racism and anti-Semitism, health education, volunteering, club promotion, gender equality, equal opportunities and inclusion. Intercultural encounters (international understanding) play a special role.
KOMM MIT has opened itself up to new strategic partnerships, also due to Corona-related changes, in order to continue to implement sustainable projects in youth sports.
